The Hero’s Journey
During a recent discussion about the storytelling concept of the hero’s journey I learned of The Writer’s Journey: Mythic Structure for Writers by Christopher Vogler…which led me to discovering A Practical Guide To The Hero With a Thousand Faces, the seven page memo that inspired the aforementioned book…and finally The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell, which influenced George Lucas’s writing of Star Wars.
