Redneck Thanksgiving by xyling. A parody of Norman Rockwell’s famous Freedom from Want painting. I saw this in one of those email collections that gets sent around and thought it was funny. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any more parodies by xyling…but I did learn that Rockwell’s painting is one of four based on Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms speech.
Jim Hance’s “Fried Gold”. The man has talent and taste.
Jim Hance has done it again. He’s made me post his art. Because it’s so cool. He has also taught me that C. M. Coolidge is the fellow that painted the inspiration for this painting (an artwork, for me, made even better by Homer Simpson).
Eric Joyner expertly paints scenes of robots and donuts.

They’re dogs…and they’re playing poker! But the really neat thing is that this was painted into the dust on a car’s rear windshield. [via Neatorama]
This is Mike Doyle’s cover art for Michael Schacht’s board game China (it has not been published with this cover…yet). I also recommend taking a look at his style for Reiner Knizia’s Modern Art (the edition published in Brazil).
Little did he know the horrors that awaited his tiny arteries…
